Dr. Karp was born and raised in Miami, attending Michael Krop High School in Miami Beach. He graduated with honors from the University of Florida, and then went on to receive his DMD from Nova Southeastern University where he was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
He continued with an orthodontic residency at Temple University. His professors gave him their highest recommendation, noting that he was the top resident in the class. One specific compliment that Dr. Zambrano remembers hearing from the professors that recommended him is that “no one will outwork him”. That says so much.
Dr. Karp has a passion for helping patients achieve a beautiful smile and his patient, calm demeanor ensures all his patients feel comfortable. He works tirelessly to make sure his patients are thrilled with their smile.
Both of Dr. Karp’s parents are from Argentina and immigrated to Miami in the early 1990’s. As a result, he speaks Spanish fluently. When he’s not straightening teeth, you can find Dr. Karp spending time with family and friends, fishing, cooking, and playing basketball and golf.
